Join our Contest!

Try once to put yourself in the shoes of a tour guide of your own town, and to retell its story from your perspective.

Rules are simple and clear, the only thing that matters is that the stories should be in accordance to the topic and for the best story tellers, prizes will be provided!

We are really looking forward to hearing your amazing city stories dear storytellers!

The contest lasts for 3 months.

The best and relevant stories will be shortlisted and available for voting on the Tell me a Story website. The winning stories will be selected by a competent jury. Additionally, stories with the most “likes” will be awarded.

At the end of each month prizes will be awarded for the best stories.

We are awarding 3 first place prizes - Travel and accommodation to one of the Tell Me A Story events in different European cities.

The authors of all the stories published on the website will be awarded the Tell Me A Story book!

Rules

The competition is open to everyone, regardless of nationality or country of residence.

To participate in this competition, entrants must write a short story on their towns/places in English and in no more than 400 words. It is recommended to send photos visualizing the story – up to 5 photos for a story, max 2 MB each.

Stories and photos must be your own work.

You can submit as many entries as you like. However, please only submit your best stories.

Entries submitted on behalf of somebody else are not allowed and are disqualified.

Entries should be submitted to email address and include the entrant’s full address and telephone number. We will not enter into any correspondence about entries or results. We cannot provide any feedback on individual entries. The winners will be contacted by us.
